Kez's inspiration comes from her connection with people and their emotions in day to day life as a HR Consultant; and her experiences living and travelling overseas. Kez lived in the tropical island of Vanuatu for 2 years and in the UK and Europe for 4 years; and has travelled extensively in Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, Asia, America and Russia.
Kez works quickly with a palette knife, using bold strokes in thick bright paint; or soft pastels and charcoal. Her work is inspired by the impressionists and expressionists focusing on emotion, light and movement rather than realist photographic like works.
Kez has studied under several tutors at Julian Ashton Art School, Art Est., Sydney Art School and for 18 years at the Michael Zaiter College of Painting. She won the Castle Hill Art Society Pastel Prize and has sold work both locally in Australia and Overseas.
Kez has exhibited at the Julian Ashton Students Exhibition, Oakhill College Art Show, Hornsby Art Society Exhibition; Castle Hill Art Society Show; Wisteria Fete Art Show. Kez had her first solo exhibition at the Ensemble Theatre Kirribilli in 2017.
